1. Acceptance of Terms

You accept these Terms by registering for an account, clicking to agree during signup, or using any part of the Service. If you use Rankzilla on behalf of a company or another business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms, and "you" refers to that business.

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of AI Usage, and Refund Policy. Those documents form part of your agreement with us.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Rankzilla. The Service is designed for businesses and professionals, including small and medium-sized local businesses, and is not intended for personal or household use. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

To use Rankzilla, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us promptly through our support channel if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or close accounts that contain false information or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

4. User Responsibilities

When you use Rankzilla, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your business and the Google Business Profile you connect.
• Only connect Google Business Profiles and social media accounts that you own or are authorized to manage.
• Review AI-generated content, including review replies and social media posts, before or after publishing, and remain responsible for what is published from your accounts.
• Comply with the policies of Google and any social media platform you connect, including Google Business Profile content guidelines.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including advertising and consumer protection laws in your region.

5. Acceptable Use

The Service exists to help legitimate local businesses grow their visibility. You may use Rankzilla to analyze your own business profile, study your local market, respond to genuine customer reviews, and create and publish content that truthfully represents your business.

6. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

• Use the Service to publish false, misleading, or deceptive information about your business or others.
• Generate or publish fake reviews, or use AI-generated replies to manipulate ratings or mislead customers.
• Connect business profiles or social accounts you do not own or manage without permission.
• Use competitor analysis features to harass, defame, or unlawfully target other businesses.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or resell the Service or its underlying systems.
• Interfere with the security or performance of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it.
• Use the Service to send spam or publish content that violates the policies of Google or any connected social platform.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments

Subscription Plans

Rankzilla is offered through paid subscription plans. Plan features, limits, and prices are described on our pricing page at the time of purchase. We may change plans or prices for future billing periods with advance notice.

Billing and Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge your chosen payment method for your subscription fees and any applicable taxes. You are responsible for keeping your payment details current.

Automatic Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, depending on your plan) unless you cancel before the renewal date. Renewal charges use the then-current price for your plan.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

8. Google Business Profile Integration

Rankzilla connects to your Google Business Profile so we can analyze your listing, generate audits and recommendations, and help you manage review replies. You control this connection and can disconnect it at any time from your account settings or your Google account permissions.

Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's own terms and policies. Rankzilla is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. We do not control how Google ranks businesses, and connecting your profile does not guarantee any specific ranking outcome.

9. AI Features

Many parts of the Service use artificial intelligence, including business profile audits, local SEO recommendations, keyword analysis, competitor insights, review reply generation, and social media content creation. AI output is generated automatically and can contain errors, omissions, or suggestions that do not fit your business.

You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it or publishing it. Detailed rules for AI features are set out in our Terms of AI Usage, which form part of these Terms.

10. Competitor Analysis

Competitor analysis features rely on publicly available information about businesses in your local market. This information is provided for research and benchmarking purposes only. We do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness, and you must not use it for unlawful purposes.

11. Review Reply Generation

Rankzilla can draft replies to customer reviews on your behalf. You decide which replies are published and are responsible for their content once published. Replies must be honest, respectful, and consistent with Google's review policies. You must not use this feature to mislead customers or misrepresent the review being answered.

12. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the business information, media, and other materials you provide to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subject to these Terms, AI-generated output created for your account (such as review replies and social media posts) is yours to use for your business. You are responsible for confirming that your use of any output complies with applicable law and platform policies.

13. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, belongs to Rankzilla and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business during your subscription. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.

14. Third-party Services

The Service depends on third parties, including Google and the social media platforms you connect for automated publishing. We are not responsible for the availability, policies, or actions of those platforms. If a platform changes or restricts its systems, some Rankzilla features may be limited or unavailable, and this does not constitute a breach of these Terms.

15. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that using Rankzilla will produce any particular result, including improved rankings, more reviews, or more customers. Local search results depend on many factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rankzilla will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Rankzilla in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

17. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Our Account Deletion page explains how this works and what happens to your data.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse AI features, violate platform policies, or fail to pay subscription fees. Where reasonable, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue first.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or through the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
